We are sure that you have many questions. We hope the answers below help, but please get in touch if you have any other questions. Our team would love to hear from you.
How do I enrol?
You can enrol by completing the online enquiry form. Our team will be in touch to provide further information regarding availabilities and to book a centre tour.
Can I come for a tour and meet the educators before I enrol my child?
Yes, of course. Complete the enquiry form or call our centre to book a time to tour the centre and meet our educators.
Do the children receive meals or am I required to provide them?
At Highfields Child Care Centre, we provide children with morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack where required. We have a highly qualified cook in the centre who plans menus and prepares nutritional and delicious meals daily. Our menu is proudly displayed in the childcare centre each week, and we welcome family feedback.
Are nappies and wipes provided?
Yes, we provide nappies and wipes for babies and toddlers.
Can babies who are breast fed or formula fed attend care?
Yes, they can. We welcome mothers who are breastfeeding to visit Highfields Child Care Centre at any time to feed their babies. We also ask that breast milk is supplied to us in small quantities to prevent wastage, and our educators will discuss alternatives if expressed milk runs out.
Our team recommends keeping infants on breast milk or formula as their main drink until at least 12 months of age. Whether formula or expressed breast milk, we ask parents to clearly label bottles with the infant’s name and date of preparation. It is also required that parents provide sterilised equipment (bottles, teats and other utensils) for very young infants. Additionally, parents are asked to provide any known allergies or food reactions or any special dietary requirements on the enrolment form.
What hours will you be open?
We are open 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday and are closed on Public Holidays.
What are the daily fees?
Please contact the team at Highfields Child Care Centre to find the daily fees specific to your needs.
